ward...
Dr. Ernie Ward is a small animal veterinarian who is
fulfilling his lifelong dream of being able to help those
that cannot help themselves - our pet loved ones. Through
his award-
winning small animal veterinary hospital in North
Carolina and his internationally recognized medical
lectures, journal articles and publications, Dr. Ernie is
sharing his love for pets and helping those that care for them.

Dr. Ernie has been featured on Animal Planet and has
appeared in numerous veterinary public service commercials
and morning talk shows as well as serving as the spokesperson
for the American Veterinary Medical Association's Senior Pet
television public announcements. Dr. Ernie's hospital was awarded the
highest honor given to veterinary hospitals, the National
Practice of Excellence Award, in 1999. Additionally, Dr.
Ward was selected as the Speaker of the Year by the North
American Veterinary Conference association in 2004.
Dr. Ernie is a competitive triathlete, certified personal
trainer, avid surfer and musician. While in veterinary
school, Dr. Ernie and his band, The Violets, scored a
College Music Journal Top 20 (#19) hit in 1991 and were
selected as one of the "Top 100 Unsigned Bands in America"
in 1990.
